☾ His life was not a happy one. From young, he hailed from a tribe that was regularly hunted down by dark beings whom seemed to flock to them like moths to the flame. Sacrifices, ripe for the plucking, and a people who were both steeped in fear, and resigned to the fates they believe were cursed upon them. And so he was named for the very thing his parents believed him destined to become.

He was a teenager when he lost his parents, within a span of just a few months. Left to provide for their many children they had left behind. And no means in which to properly do so. The youngster worked hard, but nothing ever seemed to be enough. They grew weaker, and sicker, and eventually it left them as little more than open targets to forces they could not even begin to comprehend.
It was one fateful night that Adhvara was plucked from the streets, tired on his way home from a long day working fields for a little extra coin. Dark beings in hooded robes of crimson red snatched him up, and dragged the young man to their encampment, kicking and screaming the whole way. There were just too many, and he too weakened from the hard life he had lived, could not fight as he was drawn onto large marble slab, restrained amidst the hums of dark ritual magic that he did not understand. It was only when the blade cut across his throat and his blood seeped over the shiny white stone on which he lay that peace finally seemed to come, in the form of a neverending, cold yet welcoming embrace of eternal darkness.

But that was not destined to last. Years bled on by but felt like mere moments in the cold that suspended him. Held him. Whispered of his blood and its potential. They wanted it. They wanted it to live. And so, the very entities to which he was sacrificed returned him to the world of the living. Their dark taint did not leave him unblemished however. With neck stained forever with the blood that had poured forth from it, the physical was only the beginning of a new kind of horror that had gifted him. ☽

Height. -- 4 foot, 9 inches. Weight. -- Tends to fluctuate around 90lbs. Build. -- Very petite and delicate. Naturally small bone structure.

Eyes. -- Vibrant and deep magenta. Rectangular pupils. Hair. -- A short, choppy mane of ashy hair. Slightly lighter at roots. Modifications. -- The red at his throat and fingers does not seem.. entirely natural.

Fur. -- A monochrome canvas splashed with crimson. A pale pelt overall with lighter underbelly, and ashy accents. His back bares a darker mark down it, and arms and feet are dipped in the same hue, that seems to lighten as it nears ends of the limbs. Speckled patches at his shoulders and hips. The front of his neck is a blood red that fades into the ivory of his pelt as it meets his chest, and fingers are the same colour, as though they have been dipped within something with that hue.
Tail. -- Little, stumpy thing. It is the same dark colour as his back, save for the top, which is a lighter ashy hue.
Feet. -- Digitigrade, cloven hooves. Delicate looking, but incredibly nimble and well balanced as many of his kind are.
Mouth. -- Gums and the flesh of the inside of his maw are a peculiar, vivid red colour. His tongue is coal black, oddly long and forked, much like a snake. His teeth are not typical to that of a herbivore, but instead are long, wicked looking fangs.
Ears. -- Long, soft ashy colour. Tipped in black, and naturally sit low. Constantly flicking to any and every little sound.

Likes. Food. Laying in the sun with absolutely nothing to do. Sleeping. Peace and quiet. Drawing. Hot cocoa, especially with little marshmallows. Floral scents.

Dislikes. Being made fun of because of his height. Abrasive individuals. Being restrained. The dark. Being made to play dressup. Snails.

Attire. -- Left to his own devices, he likes simply coloured, light wrap style fabrics that help to keep him cool. Nothing too flashy, put well put together. Currently, he only has a pair of dusty coloured silk pants on, and a Tether collar clasped around his throat.

Voice. -- Gentle and slightly husky. Very softly spoken.
Speaks Common tongue and Sanskrit. Fluent in the former. Can get a little muddled in the former.

Demeanor. -- A touch withdrawn and a little skittish at times. Ha a habit of zoning out randomly. When he does this, there is a strange, unyielding and almost vicious kind of glint to his eye. For the most part though, he seems overly cautious, even with himself. He can be quite chatty when his guards are lowered.

Defenses. --
Horns-- Whilst his horns might not be very long, they are sharp, and could be rather painful when combined with a strong headbutt. His skull is pretty thick, meaning despite his size he can kock someone with an unexpected amount of force.
Quick and nimble-- Being so light and small means he is fast. Combined with his extreme sense of balance, it means he can climb things that most other creatures would not be able to, and do so very quickly.
Demon Touched-- They don't want him dead. It makes him horribly resilient. He can endure far more blood loss than most, and his body can heal far quicker than it should be able to.

Quirks. --
⋆Eats everything. Really, everything. Fruit, vegetables, meats, paper, soft furnishings, corpses-.. I mean. What?
⋆Tail flickers when overly excited or stressed.
⋆Bleats when happy. He doesn't like it, but he cannot always stop himself from doing so.

⋆Pretends bloodshed and carnage make him feel queasy and unwell when actually he kind of likes it.
